Try to collect them all.Call of Duty is one of the most successful first-person shooting video gaming franchises of all time, and its second installment, COD 2, meets the expectations of its fans after the first game of Activision's franchise. These special outfits are designed specifically for Starwatch, and each character has an outfit that ties into one of that mode’s two sides: the Watchers and the Infinite Empire. However, the most noteworthy skins are alien-themed ones only available in the Premium Battle Pass. These will include cardboard armor for Reinhardt, Thai New Year costumes, and gardening attire for Symmetra. Of course, Season 4 will also include plenty of skins players can earn and purchase. Also, Season 4 will introduce Talantis: an underwater map designed by Game Director Aaron Keller, Art Director Dion Rogers, and everyone who tuned in for the recent Twitch Makes Overwatch livestream. For starters, Season 4 will introduce a new limited-time mode, Starwatch, which will function as a PvPvE match with turrets, and, depending on feedback, Blizzard might expand on the mode in future updates. As for Lifeweaver’s ultimate ability, he plants a time-limited tree that not only breaks nearby lines of sight but also acts as a HOT (healing over time) totem.īlizzard promises Lifeweaver is only the beginning of Season 4 offerings (and that Overwatch 2’s next hero will be another Support character who will premiere in Season 6).
Lifeweaver can also toss down a flower that springs anyone who steps on it into the air, pull allies away from danger and give them a shielding bubble while doing so, and dash in any direction with a self-heal. He is a Support hero (obviously), and his main weapon can switch between a flower that can heal allies when charged and a thorn-spewing SMG. Since Lifeweaver is Season 4’s new hero, he is figuratively and literally the face of the update. Just open your client, select Overwatch 2, and click on the “Download Pre-release Content” button, which should be on the bottom-left corner of the app.
Sadly, that feature is only available for the PC version of the game.
Regardless of your internet speeds, you might want to start pre-downloading the update to start playing on the dot.
However, the update will require a beefy 38 additional GB of space, which, for context, is more than vanilla Overwatch 2 required when it launched. Overwatch’s Season 4 blog post states Overwatch 2: Season 4 will be released at 11 am PDT/2 pm EST on April 11th.
